These are the standard requirements I use when helping renters apply. Each landlord or property may set its own criteria too, and I'll tell you up front if a home has extra requirements.
Have recent pay stubs (or other proof of income) and a photo ID ready to speed things up.
Application fees, security deposits and pet policies are set by each landlord and can vary from home to home. I'll go over the details for any home before you apply.
1. Tell me what you're looking for: area, budget, bedrooms, move-in date, pets, and must-haves.
2. I send you matching homes and set up showings.
3. Apply. Once you find the one, you submit an application and the required screening.
4. Approval and lease. When the landlord approves you, we review the lease together and you sign it.
5. Move-in. You pay the deposit and first month's rent (as the lease requires), do a move-in condition report, and get your keys.
